RBA points out that some metal minerals have become the main financing source for armed rebel groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa, and been used to trade arms, continuously make the bloody conflicts between them and the government, and ravage local civilians, thus causing national disputes.

As a world citizen, we declare that we do not accept the use of conflict minerals from Congo and its adjoining countries and regions, we fulfill our social and environmental responsibilities, and promise:

50. we do not accept the use of conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo and its adjoining countries and regions;
50. we require suppliers trace the sources of tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), and gold (Au) contained in all products to ensure that these metals do not originate from conflict mines;
50. our Company requires suppliers not to purchase or use conflict minerals. The suppliers shall convey this requirement to their upstream suppliers to ensure that the four types of conflict metals as mentioned above are not used in the products provided to First Hi-Tec Enterprise Co., Ltd.
